Owner & Head Witch of Strange Scene, Director of the Tarot Stage, Set & Prop Designer
Maggie Sasso, aka Madam Strange is a Milwaukee-based artist whose practice blends theater, mysticism, ancestry, and heirloom craft.
Raised on the stage, she grew up in the world of performance, learning early that every gesture, every pause, every object can hold meaning. That theatrical sensibility threads through her tarot practice today: each reading is a performance for the soul, where symbolism and story come alive.
Her artistry extends beyond the cards. Working with leather, fibers, wood, and metal, she crafts heirloom-quality metaphysical goods that feel like artifacts from another world, objects meant to be cherished, not consumed. Every piece is infused with ritual, wit, and a touch of the Strange.
Madam Strange is also an ancestral witch, honoring and researching her German, Irish, and Italian roots, while carrying the threads of her lineage tied to the Appalachian Mountains through her mother and the Rust Belt through her father. Her work is both personal and historical, weaving family memory and cultural inheritance into ritual practice and artistic creation.

Main Stage Hand, Bamboo Enthusiast, Maker & Purveyor of Fine Ideas
Odd, aka Ben Jones, has been known to build a boat out of found wood and cultural reverence, pick a vibrant color pallet, and make complicated objects. He used to be known as a Mechanical Engineer, but these days he’s making oddities, large and small, for Strange Scene.
Suna Zol
Operationals Manger, aka, Jack of all Trades
Suna Zol, a 21-year-old artist who moved from the Chicago suburbs to Milwaukee to try and make art their full-time thing. She grew up super Christian, but found her own path and ended up connecting way more with the craft. Now, they’re in a tiny coven with her roommates, and it’s been so enlightening. She is super excited about the opportunity to not only grow as a witch, but meet the community waiting here for us in Bayview. As for their role here at the Strange Scene, she makes sure this shop is running smoothly behind the scenes. Plus, making some jewlery and wreaths that we sell in store!
Sigga
Runes expert and Customer Care
Sigga is a seiðkona which is a practitioner of the Norse magical practice of Seiðr involving prophecy, fate, trance work, weaving, and spirit communication. She has been heavily working with the Norse Spirits for 5+ years with an emphasis on Rune Studies. An inclusive practitioner, Sigga’s passions lie in helping guide others to feeling into their own intuition and showing that the Nordic Path is available for any and all called to learn.
Maddy of the Moon
Tarot Reader/Customer Care
Maddy is an intuitive tarot and oracle reader. Maddy began reading tarot and oracle about 5 years ago, and has been doing it professionally since October 2025. Maddy had a spiritual awakening at 27 which led her to sobriety, an amazing spiritual journey, and finding her spiritual path. She is an avid practitioner of shadow work, but fully embraces love and light. She recognizes that we must integrate both the shadow and the light to live authentically and be whole in our selves. Maddy thoroughly enjoys readings related to spiritual growth, and sees tarot and oracle as introspective and reflective tools. Maddy works heavily with deities of both shadow and light work. Maddy seeks to help people grow spiritually, discover authenticity, and embrace their spiritual path. She loves Strange Scene more than anywhere else in Milwaukee, and feels she has found her true community spiritually at Strange Scene and wants to help others thrive on their spiritual journey.
